ARTISTS STATMENT
 
Life is kind of like going down a river's path. Sometimes you have to hang on for dear life and at other places its smooth as glass. At times your path, you will have no control over. You must stop, get out of the boat, walk and heal. Other times the views are so stunningly beautiful they make you shed tears of joy, the water is calming and you can just smile inside and out. Then the chances of encountering dangerous life threatening rapids appear and you have to fight for your life. But all the while your grateful, because we only get one precious life to lead. The rivers path can all look so different from year to year, decade to decade, but we are in the boat and we have to get down the path somehow to the final resting place. So I choose to live in the moment with an idea of what around the bend could look like but knowing the truth, that nature is unpredictable. I try and look back to only the beauty I felt and saw behind me ♡
