Whimsical Fairy Collage
Join me while we create ethereal, whimsical fairies in collage form! In this class, you will learn the basics of how to assemble random fun bits and pieces into a beautiful and unique work of art using a variety of mediums. If you struggle to get into a creative zone or just want to learn some tips and tricks I have learned over the years, this is the opportunity for you. I will guide you through your unique creative flow and teach you how to let loose and create something fun on a 10x10 canvas! Students are encouraged to bring one or two fun things to incorporate into their piece if they'd like (and if they are meaningful, that's even better), but otherwise, all supplies are included.

Floral Still Life
In this class, I will guide you through painting a fun floral still life while you are learning composition, colour mixing, and possibly some new brush mark-making techniques! We will be using acrylic paint and possibly a few other fun surprises on a 9x12 canvas. All supplies are included.

Me As Your Teacher
I have been working with paint for many years, so I have the basic knowledge expected. What I want to pass on to you, is the knowledge that there is no right or wrong in the creation of art. Every person comes to the table with their own inner natural "style," regardless of skill level. The fun is in embracing it. Art is there to take a break from the daily tasks, to express yourself and let your imation run free.
Exercise Creativity
In my classes, I encourage new ways for you to learn to let go of anything holding you back from getting paint onto that white canvas. I will be offering lessons to all skill levels...yes even if all you say you can do is create a stick man I will prove you wrong. I see you, and your creative potential. I create a safe environment for you to feel like you can explore every idea without being afraid to make "bad art".
Location
I currently teach exclusively at the Crows Nest Artist Collective in Campbell River. Its a comfortable environment packed with all sorts of colourful art and inspiration. There is supplies available to purchase in the shop but you can find your supplies though Deserres (online), Michael's or Kroma acrylics Vancouver (they have an online shop).
