Meet and Greet at Martine's Bistro

Hello all !
So, this autumn and winter many of my paintings will be on display inside Martine's Bistro. The owners, Marcus and his wife Shawna have been so gracious and kind, and its an honour to showcase my art in a place with such a cozy and inviting space.
Martine's has given us the opportunity to hold a meet and greet in November, which is amazing because this will be my first time holding an solo event outside of my home town and I'm so glad its in Comox, my neighbouring town, as it was once a place I called home, about 15 years ago. This also gives an opportunity to get to know the locals there more, and meet new faces.
The paintings on display are all whimsical, brightly coloured depictions of our local landscapes. Many originals showcased were created in the past 5 years, all of which are partly inspired by the works of the famous group of 7 and Emily Carr mixed with my own imagination and many years of experimentation and passion for what I do. I create events like these so I can share the hard work and love I put into each piece in person, and it always gives me a refreshing drive to keep being inspired and making my dreams become reality. I love hearing other interpretations of my paintings, seeing peoples live reactions and the new meanings the art takes on in other peoples minds. Art is a feast for the eyes, so when put together with good food, its an amazing experience.
The meet and greet will be held on Sunday, November 9th from 2pm-4pm. This is a free event, everyone is welcome to attend, so you can bring friends and family. None- alcoholic drinks will be kindly supplied by Martine's Bistro, and there will be a cash only bar open to those who would like a fancier beverage. I will of course be there for all of the art conversations and any questions you have for me.
I am so thankful for this collaboration with Martine's, and I hope you are able to make it out, and make this day epic. Thankyou for your continued support, I know, I have said it before, but It does truly mean the would to me.
